Licensing of the Bourne Shell Scripting Tutorial
Why don't I release it as GPL, GFDL or Creative Commons? I just want to be the sole distributor, so that:
- I know how many readers it gets
- People know to contact me with comments, amendments, etc
- Nobody else takes the credit for my work
- There is only One True Version of the tutorial, without any confusing forks
You are still free to make copies for personal use - whether that's for reading offline, or whatever. I just request that you not redistribute it, via the web, print, or any other medium.
If you have a particular reason to want to do something else, please just contact me and I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out; maybe you can just link back to this site.
