In March 2024 I had a lovely mini-road-trip to Bletchley Park and Rustival, and stayed over at this lovely hotel in-between. Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa since you ask.

A surprisingly clear journey all the way - roughly: Friday morning 10am - 1230am, Saturday afternoon 2pm - 4.30pm. Only saw one absolute d*ckhead (driving a LandRover 100mph down the outside lane of the M6 with pumping his fist out of the driver's window, like we're all supposed to be impressed by his ability to press a pedal), and quite a few active acts of courtesy along the way, too. The Nissan Juke and Qashqai drivers were dishonourable exceptions in every single instance, but I believe there is something in the PCP terms and conditions that these cars are required to be driven as if no other road users even exist, let alone have rights as fellow road users.
