Sunset
Sunset, 3rd June 2021
I went to Bosley thinking I might get some nice photos by the reservoir, and maybe some of the comms tower on Croker Hill. So it starts of with a few fairly dull images of that, there wasn't much I could get.
After I'd set off home, a beautiful sunset started to appear - I ditched the car in the verge and grabbed a few photos which were marred by pylons, but better than missing the sunset. But the sun had a fair way still to go down, so I risked driving a bit further on, so I could get underneath the pylons to get more clear shots of the sunset itself.
Catching the setting sunlight
These were about as good as I expected to get
Feels a bit hobbit-ish, somehow?
Croker Hill
Trying to blend in with the trees!
This is not the sunset you are looking for!
This is a traffic light!
I parked up, grabbed a few shots, but there were pylons and phone lines everywhere
But something is better than nothing!
Found a farm road a mile or so down
Stood under the pylons to take photos of the sunset
Shorter Exposure
Moodier, redder expression
The lighter cloud above started to take shape
Let's not forget the pylons!
They were part of this story from the start!
Some hills further away
Looking rather dramatic
Same hills, longer exposure
No idea what hills these are!
As the sun got further down, a glow emerged
and the clouds were lit from below
